Predictions Methodology
The Predictor was designed to use computer estimates from the Inference Index to predict future Poland Ekstraklasa games. The Predictor does NOT account for injuries, or any other factors that may be cause the outcome to be swayed in one direction or another. The Polish Ekstraklasa has an season that is pretty different than what is typically seen in top-flight football. There are 16 teams that play a home-and-home match up in the first 30 games of the season. These game determine which teams make the “Championship Group” and the “Relegation Group”. The final seven games are within each group as each team plays every other team one time. Currently, four teams go on to play in European tournaments, and two teams are relegated to the lower division.
